18. But who now is that Mediator, who in one person is true God and also a true and righteous man?

Our Lord Jesus Christ, 1) who is freely given unto us for complete redemption and righteousness. 2)

l) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matt. 1:23.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. I Tim. 3:16.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11.

2) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us, wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption. I Cor. 1:30.

* Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
